AI Integration · Claude Desktop extension

Your Epherem reports, inside Claude Desktop.

Install the Epherem extension and your coding assistant in Claude Desktop can read your Epherem reports. Ask it what your latest scan found while you work on your app. It only reads reports you already have, and it's free.

Four tools, all read-only.

The extension gives Claude four ways to read your Epherem account. You ask in your own words and Claude picks the tool it needs.

01

List your apps

The apps in your Epherem account.

02

List scans

The scans you've run on an app.

03

Latest scan

The results of the most recent scan of an app.

04

Full report

The whole report for a scan you pick.

05

Nothing else

It can't start a scan, and it can't change your code.

How to install it.

You need Claude Desktop on Mac or Windows and an Epherem account. There is nothing else to install.

01
Download the extensionSign in to Epherem and download epherem.mcpb from your account.
02
Open Claude Desktop settingsGo to Settings → Extensions → Advanced settings.
03
Install itChoose Install Extension and pick the file you downloaded. Don't drag it into a chat: that uploads the file instead of installing it.
04
Paste your API keyCopy your API key from the same place in your account and paste it when Claude Desktop asks.

Your key, and what the extension can touch.

The extension needs your API key to read your reports. It can read them and nothing more.

01 / KEY

Your key stays on your computer

Claude Desktop keeps your API key in your operating system's keychain, not in a plain settings file.

  • Kept in your OS keychain
  • Pasted once, when you install
02 / READ-ONLY

It reads reports that already exist

All four tools only read. The extension can't start a scan, change a report or touch your code.

  • No new scans
  • No changes to your reports
  • No changes to your code
03 / FREE

Included with Epherem Free

Every Epherem account can use the extension at no cost.

  • Free, like the scanner
  • Claude Desktop only, for now

What it can't do.

The extension shows Claude the reports you already have. To run a scan, use the Epherem website. What Claude reads from a report becomes part of your Claude conversation.

What it can do

  • List your apps
  • List the scans for an app
  • Read the latest scan of an app
  • Read the full report for any scan

What it can't do

  • Start a scan
  • Change your code or your reports
  • Work outside Claude Desktop, for now
  • Make a finding more certain than the report does

Read your reports where you build.

Scan your app on the website, then ask Claude about the report.

The extension only reads reports, and findings stay what the report calls them. If Claude calls a finding real or safe, that is Claude's opinion, not Epherem's.
